I’m in Las Vegas at a big blogger’s conference; have to make a presentation today, and I’m woefully unprepared. Would a blogger have it any other way?
A couple of missives from District 9 did reach me here. Today’s Denver Post has a nice article about a transit-oriented development project at the south end of the Baker neighborhood. Perfect example of the type of opportunities (for residents/consumers and for businesses) that FasTracks will be spinning off throughout metro Denver. There will be a public workshop about this particular project next Wednesday at the Denver Design Center East Building Conference Center (595 S. Broadway) at 6 p.m.; more info at this page.
Also wanted to remind everyone that the Denver International Film Festival is underway at Auraria. Full schedule for today’s screenings (and the whole festival, for that matter) is available at the DIFF site; here’s one blogger’s list of interesting-looking flicks.
