Followup number 1: If you were thinking of requesting a free tree from Denver Digs Trees (see yesterday’s post), the deadline has been extended to March 1. I have to clarify one thing: They’re only available free to residents in certain neighborhoods. Most of District 9’s neighborhoods qualify: Baker, Chaffee Park, Elyria/Swansea, Five Points, Globeville, Lincoln Park, Sunnyside, Sun Valley, and Valverde are all on the list.
