Do Your Duty — Vote

Don’t forget:

Mail ballots will start arriving in Denver voters’ mailboxes this weekend. The November 3 Coordinated Election is an all-mail ballot election, so ballots are automatically sent to all eligible voters.

This election includes races for Denver Public School Board members, as well as ballot question on an initiated ordinance. Sample ballots and school district boundary maps are available on the Denver Elections Division website, www.denvervotes.org.

Voters can return their voted ballots by mail or in person. The return postage for a mail ballot is 61 cents. Voters who choose to drop their ballots off in person can bring them to the Elections Division lobby at 3888 E. Mexico Ave. or the atrium of the Wellington Webb Building at 201 W. Colfax Ave. from Monday, October 26, through Saturday, October 31. Dropoff hours are 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.

You can also drop your ballot off on Monday, November 2, or on Election Day (November 3). Extended hours will be available on Election Day; you can drop your ballot of between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. In addition to being able to drop off ballots in the lobby of these facilities, a drive-through ballot dropoff will be available at the Elections Division.

Be sure to deposit your ballot in an attended red ballot box only. Don’t leave it at any unsecured location or drop it off outside of the posted hours of operation. You can log on at www.denvervotes.org to confirm that your voted ballot has been received by the Elections Division.
