Thursday night at 8 p.m., Channel 8′s “Metro Voices” program will launch a new series of shows about the 2010 Census. Getting an accurate Census count is incredibly important to District 9; decisions about government funding, staffing, and programming will be based on the Census count. If Denver (or District 9) gets undercounted, it could result in chronic shortages in city services and funds.
The Census Bureau is mailing out notification cards this week, and the official census forms will be hitting mailboxes by mid-March. Be sure to fill it out and return it on time.
